Policies are procedures and guidelines to promote delivery of timely, accurate and efficient services, rules to maintain legal and Clinical Nutrition Practice and Ethic codes, to help clients "do no harm" to themselves, other clients, Dr. Smith, staff, and our business and vice versa, and to outline client responsibilities and ours, so we can maintain a healthy, harmonious working and long-term relationship.
The Policies below will be replaced when updated.It is our clients’ responsibility to stay current on all policies and clients are responsible for adherence to all policies even if they have not taken time to read, understand or ask/email questions for clarification. The last six numbers after the letter R (Revision) on the first line in the Footnote on each policy page indicates the date when policies are revised or updated. These policies are also posted on the New Client Instructions webpage so all new clients may read them before starting their therapy.
To save time, clients are referred to the appropriate Policy PDF document should they phone or email to ask questions about policies and procedures that have been answered in these documents.Therefore, it is important to review these documents for your answers before calling or emailing.
You have the option of printing each document below and inserting into section #10 of your PEP Binder for quick reference, which is what we recommend, or read them online on this webpage.
