HEALTH MAINTENANCE PROGRAM
From Therapeutic to Maintenance Care
Optimal Healing or Homeostasis (Definition of True Health)Optimal Healing means either the your test result values are in
homeostasis (true health) or as close to homeostasis as is
possible for the client's body (optimal), depending upon the severity of values compared
to their initial test values. Optimal healing would also related to any inherent and/or acquired weakness that was unable to restore to homeostasis. Homeostasis is the definition of true health. Inherent and Acquired Weaknesses - Defined
Inherent and Acquired Weaknesses are biological, biochemical and/or bio-electrical weakness(es) that have been inherited or developed (acquired) after birth
due to long-term exposure or ingestion of toxic substances, long-term
nutrient deficiencies/biochemical imbalances, injury that permanently
damaged part or all an organ, gland or physical structure, adverse
affects from loss of an organ or gland from surgical removal on other
areas of the body and/or long-term poor lifestyle practices, etc.
- Areas of the body with "acquired weakness"
may improve due to
clinical nutrition therapy, however, the client either started clinical
nutrition therapy too late for the body to attain complete healing
(homeostasis) or they may be missing an organ or gland, which is an
acquired weakness area of the body that needs long-term supplement
support.
- Areas of the body with "inherent weaknesses," to the surprise of
many clients, can improve through clinical nutrition, however, they may not be able to attain homeostasis and require long-term supplementation to sustain the improvement they attained.
- Long-term therapeutic supplement support due
to the loss of an organ or gland can help compensate for that loss
and/or support surrounding or inter-related other organs/glands to help
them counter the adverse affects on them due to loss of a body part.
Supporting inherent or acquired weaknesses with therapeutic
supplements for the rest of a clients life is much preferred and do not
cause more health challenges like taking taking pharmaceutical drugs for
the rest of your life, which is the medical answer to inherent and
acquired weaknesses.
Clinical Nutrition "Therapy Closure"The term "Therapy Closure" means that the client's current "therapeutic
supplement" program will be discontinued, and not followed by
another "Therapeutic" Supplement Program of Care (POC).
When the Client's Comprehensive Clinical Nutrition Analysis of the
Laboratory Testing of their complete biochemistry [blood, urine, hair,
stool and saliva (for female/male and adrenals)] indicates the client
has attained optimal healing, their therapy is complete.
They have arrived, so to speak. Their Report of Findings will include:
- a Clinical Nutrition "Therapy "Closure Consultation for instructions in weaning off therapeutic supplements to be discontinued,
- presentation of your personalized Health Maintenance Supplement
Program, which may include support for any inherent or acquired
weakness, if applicable.
- At that time, client will be provided the passcodes for the "Therapy Completed"
web page to open specific PDF documents for instructions for
their Health Maintenance Supplement Program that is to accompany their personalized Maintenance Supplement Program of Care (POC), if the latter is required.
Purpose of the Health Maintenance Program
Therefore, Dr. Smith has developed the Health Maintenance Supplement Program of Care (MPOC) and this web page provides instructions to assist our clients in their health maintenance goals. The "Basic" Health Maintenance Program is also available for the family and friends of our clients, who are not ready or interested in clinical nutrition therapy at this time, however, value whole food maintenance supplements. For example, from our clients they have learned of the difference in how supplements are manufactured today and want to take a whole food multiple vitamin and minerals, dispensed through nutritional providers, like Dr. Smith, instead of the synthetic and isolated supplements that are sold to the public.
About The Health Maintenance Supplement Program
Below are the specifics of the Health Maintenance Program, along with listing the Basic Maintenance Supplement Program.
- The Health Maintenance Supplement Program does not require:
testing of the client's nutritional biochemistry (blood, urine, saliva, hair or stool) or other nutritional evaluation for Dr. Smith to recommend and dispense whole food maintenance supplements. Therefore, they can be ordered indefinitely.
- monthly auto-shipment, as they can be ordered as
needed. However, a client may request for monthly auto-shipment, if so
desire, for any supplement they want to order each month.
- Maintenance Supplements can be taken safely, indefinitely.
- The basic Maintenance Supplement Program includes three supplements:
- a whole food multiple vitamin supplement
- a whole food mineral supplement,
- a whole food trace minerals supplement.
- Note: You will notice that whole food "multiple" supplements do not have all the vitamins, minerals and trace minerals mixed together. This is another manufacturing practice of food supplement suppliers of isolate and synthetic vitamins that leads to health challenges that most people are unaware of.
Health Maintenance, also, includes the Health Chest Pamphlet products and those listed on the "Order Form for Health Maintenance Products" in section #1 of the client's PEP Binder.
This may also include some specific therapeutic supplements to support inherent and/or acquired weaknesses, if applicable.
Why Do I Need A Health Maintenance Supplement Program?

- Just to name a few.
Yes, this is quite a list. So the point we are making here is that we live in a toxic environment, with poor food supply, and we are exposed daily to adverse electrical fields. Thus, the above requires:
- realizing that Health is their #1 priority,
- maintaining the highest standard of health and living,
- self-discipline and self-motivation
- financially-investing in the varies health equipment and appliances required to eliminate toxic exposures and EMF fields.
- and where not possible to eliminate have dramatically reduced exposure,
- in addition to learning from Dr. Smith what is needed with their Health Maintenance Supplement Program to counter their adverse affects.
Therefore, a Health Maintenance Supplement Program is not an option, but a necessity to help counter the adverse affects of toxicity and nutrient depletion occurring from day to day.Additionally, to evaluate the degree of toxicity and nutrient deficiencies that have occurred in each 12-month period, after concluding your Clinical Nutrition Therapy, an annual Clinical Nutrition Check-up is essential to maintain health and prevent disease. Clinical Nutrition Check-UpAn annual Clinical Nutrition Check-up is:
- obtaining testing for your biochemistry (blood, saliva, hair, etc.) and correcting any abnormal nutrient values, if any, that has occurred in the past 12 months since therapy discontinued, or since their last Nutritional Check-up.
- Then correct abnormal test findings, which to correct those that have occurred within 12-months of their originating takes much less time, money and effort than allowing them to progress to where they adversely affect their biochemistry, cause organ/gland dysfunctions, and/or leads to disease.
- and following a 30-Day Full Body Internal Detoxification Program every Spring and Fall to reduce/eliminate toxic substances that have accumulated. Your annual check-up will identify if you need to detoxify once or twice a year.
- The Health Maintenance Program outlined above will also be evaluated to
see if your basic and/or previous health maintenance supplement program
was sufficient to truly accomplished its
goal of "health maintenance." If your annual Check-up indicated that
your
health maintenance program needs to be revised to better support your
health, this will be included in your new personalized Maintenance
Supplement Program of Care. Until your first Nutritional Check-up after
concluding your therapy, it is not possible to know if the above basic
Health Maintenance Supplements and/or personalize Maintenance Supplement
Program of Care (POC) is sufficient.
Conclusion This web page has outlined the purpose and definition of the Health Maintenance Supplement Program, why a client needs a Health Maintenance Supplement Program, and may be personalized depending upon inherent or acquired weaknesses, or other indications on test results.
